Bubacarr Jallow is a child protection advocate, social worker, and youth development practitioner with over nine years of experience in community engagement and safeguarding. He has contributed to the establishment of Community Child Protection Committees across The Gambia and has led regional initiatives with the Nova Scotia Gambia Association. He holds a degree in Law and is currently pursuing postgraduate studies in Project Management.
A former CorpsAfrica Volunteer, Bubacarr is passionate about community-driven development and youth leadership. As a Pan-Africanist and researcher of African history, he explores the connections between social justice, cultural identity, and accountability. He is also an author and storyteller who uses literature to challenge silence around abuse and injustice, with a focus on child protection, civic responsibility, youth empowerment, and ethical leadership.
